The Lion King Autism-Friendly Performances

Autism-Friendly Performances

Disney’s THE LION KING is working closely with The National Autistic Society to create a friendly and supportive environment to enjoy this award-winning musical. The specially adapted performances are suitable for people with autism, with trained staff on hand in dedicated quiet and activity areas should anyone need to leave their seats.

Following sold-out performances in 2013 and 2014, Disney’s award-winning musical presented its third dedicated Autism-Friendly Performance on Sunday 30th August 2015. The next Autism-Friendly performance will take place in the summer of 2017. Please check back for information, or fill in this form if you would like to be contacted by a Disney Theatrical Group representative nearer the performance date.

Set against the majesty of the Serengeti Plains to the evocative rhythms of Africa, THE LION KING uses breathtaking theatrical magic to tell the story of Simba’s epic journey to fulfil his destiny as King of the Pridelands.
